When does the TRC season open and close?
Typically, TRC aims to open on the second Saturday of April and close on the second Saturday of October. The decision is largely based on the weather and snow condition.

What are the fees for the Limited Membership (visitor) category?
$22.00 per night for tent camping

What are the fees for a Regular Membership?
$195– Regular Membership per year
Seniors/Disabled Persons Membership save 15% per year

Credit Cards?
TRC is now using pre-payments online for camping and membership fees. You can use credit cards onsite for purchases as well.

Can I stay at TRC during the week?
Yes!
While more members enjoy TRC on the weekends, many enjoy the tranquility of fewer people.  Some of our regular limited members just pitch a tent at sites next to the river and enjoy the sun during the day and a small fire at night.

How Long Can I Camp?
Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days at which time a 5 day break is required.

Do I need a reservation or can I reserve a space for tent camping?
Tent sites are first come first serve upon arrival, you can preregister for camping so check in is faster and easier when you pre register at the host hut. You can preregister HERE.

Do I need a reservation if I bring a RV, Truck Camper or Sleeper Van?
Reservations required, yes. RV sites do book up fast on party weekends so reserve your space way in advance.
See RV reservations

Can I Camp On The Beach?
While TRC has sites that are next to the river, most of the beach area is on National Forest Land.

Can I Bring My Dog?
TRC loves seeing dogs, but on a leash. TRC may be intimidating for your dog; so, please give them love and attention if they are distressed. Consider your pet's comfort level.
Don’t forget your doggie bags (but, you already knew that).

Can I Make A Campfire In My Limited Campsite?
There are several communal fire pits located in the Limited Camping area. We cannot permit any other open fires. This is due to the extreme fire danger rating that occurs during the summer.

Wheelbarrows?
There are several wheelbarrows for moving your belongings. Just return it as soon as you’re finished. The next visitor will appreciate it!

Clothing Optional?
Yes

TRC prohibits nudity only to those places where the outside public can see. This includes the driveways and trails that access Mountain Loop Highway. Many TRC members exercise their clothing options while at the beach.
